BDCHS Visual Arts Teachers, Ms. Mitchell and Ms. Sofilka recently attended the USF Inside Art workshop, an annual professional learning opportunity. We love our university partners! This is the X Factor exhibit currently at the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum. You should go see it. These photos are from some of the amazing artists. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to our annual holiday fundraising event, the "Giving Tree," sponsored by the Spanish National Honor Society. Your generosity has made a profound impact this holiday season! 🎄💙
This year, all donations were directed to New Beginnings of Tampa, an organization that provides transitional housing and homeless recovery programs for unaccompanied adults over 18, including U.S. military veterans. Their mission is to serve as a safety net, offering support to residents as they pursue education, employment, and independent living skills. They collaborate closely with the Veterans Administration and James A. Haley Veterans Hospital to create an environment that fosters health, morale, and a sense of pride, especially for homeless veterans.
Your support helped New Beginnings of Tampa continue their incredible work of providing individuals with a safe place to live as they transition toward a more permanent housing situation.
