IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Padgett family was featured in a Tampa Bay 28 news story which proudly celebrates the extraordinary legacy of Rubin Padgett Sr., a pioneering community leader and the first African American elected to the Hillsborough County Commission. His life and impact are being honored this month as HART features him on a special Black History Month bus wrap.
The story captures a powerful moment shared by three generations of the Padgett family as they saw the tribute for the very first time.
