Students in grades 9–11 will participate in the PSAT exam as part of our school-day testing program and to help prepare them for the SAT. Attendance is required for students in grades 9–11, and students will spend the majority of the school day testing.
Please review the important information below:
8:00 a.m. - Start Time: Students must be on time for testing and have their Chromebook fully charged.
11:30 a.m. – Early Release: Students may be picked up beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Lunch: Students may remain on campus until 12:00 p.m. to have lunch if they choose.
1:00 p.m. – Final Pickup: All students must be picked up no later than 1:00 p.m.
Testing Accommodations: Students with approved accommodations, such as extended testing time, may continue testing until approximately 12:30 p.m.
Seniors: Seniors do not need to attend school on this day, as they have already completed the PSAT, unless they have been specifically instructed otherwise. More information will be provided to grade 12 students regarding this day.

On September 22, Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School welcomed students and families from across the Tampa Bay area for an exciting Multi-College Information Session!
Ms. Jessica Meyerson, Department Head for Student Services and Administration, welcomed families as representatives from four outstanding universities shared valuable information about their campuses, academic programs, admissions processes, and opportunities for prospective students.

Today, the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School community pauses to remember and honor the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001.
In remembrance, our BDCHS community members have shared their personal stories and memories of that day. These stories are displayed alongside 2,977 flags on our North Field—one flag for each life lost. Our students and staff came together to place every flag, creating a powerful reminder of the people behind the number.
Throughout the day, classes will visit the field to pause for a moment of reflection, read the stories shared by members of our community, and remember the lasting impact of September 11.

If your student did not bring home an Emergency Card or has misplaced theirs, please contact the Main Office on Monday or email office@bdchs.org so we can provide your student with a replacement.
