Graduation
BDCHS Graduation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at The Straz Center - Morsani Hall.
We understand that many families want to celebrate their seniors in a big way. At this time, we will be providing up to 10 graduation tickets per family. Tickets are FREE but are required of every attendee in order to ensure that enough seats are available. Seating is not assigned and location will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open approximately 30 minutes prior to the event.
Please utilize the form below to claim your guaranteed tickets (up to 10) and to communicate any requests for additional tickets (up to 5). This form must be completed by a parent/guardian. All requests MUST be submitted by Friday, April 26, 2024.
Please note that we will do our best to accommodate requests for additional tickets but cannot make any guarantees.

Dress Code:
Graduation Dress Code for 12th Graders (Under the graduation gown)
Students must wear dress shoes. No sneakers or flip-flops are permitted. Students may wear dress slacks and/or business attire and semi-formal. Jeans are not permitted. No decorating of graduation cap is permitted.

The Polar Foundation Scholarship - $1,000
Marques D. Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Any high school senior who is a Florida resident with at least a 2.9 GPA may apply for this scholarship if they’re an active member of their school chorus or a music, theater, or arts program.
Amount: $1,000

Community Service Opportunities
The Faith & Grace Garden located at 9807 North 56th Street, Temple Terrace is an organic garden that provides fresh fruit and vegetables to clients of the St. Vincent dePaul food pantry. Volunteers at the garden assist with planting, cultivating and harvesting the fresh food grown in the garden. Volunteering for the garden allows students to earn community service hours for Bright Futures. For more information, view the flyer HERE.
