Prospective Student Open Houses
We highly recommend that you and your student join us for a Prospective Student Open house prior to our Admissions lottery in January. This event is on campus and gives you and your student first-hand information of our programs and campus.
**We do not offer shadowing or individual tours due to the large number of applicants we receive.

Each year we have a growing number of student applications. When the number of student applications exceeds the number of available seats, we hold a lottery.

Transportation
Parents/Guardians are responsible for providing reliable transportation to/from school for their student(s). Tardies will not be excused for traffic or long commutes and busing is not offered.
Parent/Family Volunteerism
As a part of the BDCHS philosophy of setting and maintaining higher standards for students, parents, faculty, staff, administration and board members, each year families are required to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours of time in service to the school community. Accommodations are considered and granted through written approval of school administration.

Lottery Application Dates & Deadlines
2025-2026 School Year
2025-2026 Lottery ran on Friday, January 24, 2025.
2025-2026 Lottery Applications were Accepted: August 1st, 2024 - January 20, 2025 - 8PM EST
Applications submitted after the close period will not be included in the lottery but will be added to the bottom of the waitlist in the order received.
2026-2027 School Year
2026-2027 Lottery will run on Friday, January 30, 2026.
2026-2027 Lottery Applications Will Be Accepted: August 1st, 2025 - January 27, 2026 - 8PM EST
Applications submitted after the close period will not be included in the lottery but will be added to the bottom of the waitlist in the order received.
** Seat offers and waitlist positions are sent to the email listed on your lottery account. Registration instructions and deadline are provided by email once a seat offer has been accepted.
