The primary mission of BDCHS is prepare students for success beyond high school, by exposing them to curricula, extracurricula and social-cultural experiences that support their development as productive citizens and lifelong learners. BDCHS’s core curriculum is taught through Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment (DE) courses and enhanced by AVID instructional delivery methods. The curriculum is reinforced through the use of global and distance learning opportunities and centered around community & service learning.
Dual Enrollment (DE): Dual enrollment is a program that allows high school students to simultaneously earn credit toward a high school diploma and college credit or vocational credit toward a postsecondary diploma, certificate, or degree at a Florida public institution while still enrolled in high school. BDCHS students are eligible to participate in dual enrollments programs through the Hillsborough Community College and the University of South Florida. For more information, please visit:
